i completely forgot to share this awkward story! it's a good one!
last sunday daren and i were at church, naturally. after sacrament we ran into his aunt and uncle so we stopped to chat with them for a minute. as we were talking our bishop came up and said, "do they grow tibbitts boys any shorter?" or something like that.
daren is 6'7" and his uncle is a little bit shorter than him. basically the shortest man in the family is 6'1".
anyways. we were talking about how tall everyone was and blah, blah, blah. then our bishop, who might i add i've only talked to probably 4 times since we moved into the ward ONE month ago, turned to me and said and i quote, "man i feel bad for your birth canal."
what the!?! are you kidding me? did the bishop that i don't even know just say that to me? how do you reply to that? i didn't know what to say so i just awkwardly smiled and laughed.
never again will the topic of height be brought up around my bishop.

Damn Bishops! You never know what is gonna come out of their mouths...but that is awkward what he said.
Just to clarify, the bishop looked at my uncle and I and said ' Do they only grow you Tibbitts Boys in 6'5"? ' And yes, he did say that he felt bad for my wife's birth canal. It was pretty funny acutally. Ash just kind stood there and didn't really say anything. And Bear doesn't seem to like Bishopric, Stake Presidency or Relief Society visitors (and after comments like that you gotta wonder why). That's a good puppy right there!
I am so glad you have a blog and I got an invite! It has been fun to catch up on your life. Love the look of the blog, the pics and all. You and your hubby sound like a great match - congrats again.
Oh and your sunday story is. just. weird. especially coming from the bish. I love stories like that though - thanks for the laugh!
Did he really say the words 'Birth Canal'. He sounds well...most awkward! Good luck with that! When do I get to see you???
