memorial day

This was the first year that I have been to the graves on Memorial Day and you know what?! I liked it. It was beautiful and peaceful. Daren, on the other hand, was weirded out. He is said he is "cementeried" out.

On Saturday we went to the Smithfield and Logan cemeteries with my parents. We visited my dad's grandparents and Daren's grandma and great grandma.

On Monday we went down to Salt Lake and had a little family reunion with my mom's side of the family. We had lunch at a park and then went up to my grandparents graves. It was great to be with family and learned a little bit more about them.

adison's blessing

Last week, Mother's Day actually, cute baby Adison was blessed by her father. It was a beautiful blessing, James did a most excellent job!

After the blessing, James and Susi hosted a luncheon at one of the parks near by. It was a beautiful day!

I'm so grateful that my hubby honors his priesthood and was able to participate in the blessing. It just makes me so proud!

I love this one. It's like she's saying STOP TAKING MY PICTURE!

 Susi TRIED to get Daren with the cake spatula...she failed. But it was sure funny to watch!

Later that day we got to Skype with my favorite Elder!! It was SOO good to see him! He looks and sounds so great! He reached his one year mark last week so now the countdown for him to come home begins!!

Well hello my pretties...we have been getting around, around the town!

We celebrated my little monkey's birthday. 4 YEARS OLD PEOPLE! I can hardly stand it!!

We bought a new hose and hose holder! Our old hose was one of those really light weight ones and it SUCKED! It was also kinking. Then our hose holder thing broke. It was a sad day. 

Check out that giant sprinkler! I'm so excited to use it! It's the little things people...the little things

 We got our first snow cones of the season! They were SO yummy!! Can't wait for more!

We see this brat very often. He sure does make me laugh!

My little love bug mowing the lawn! It was quite the issue to get it to work this year but we have got it and it runs like a champ now!

We had a sad little moment last night...our little dutch oven cooker cracked! We LOVED this thing and now it's broke. Sad panda. Now I have to find a new one...any suggestions?

My brother hit his one year mark on his mission this week! Now the countdown to when he comes HOME is on!! I'm so proud of him and all the hard work he is doing!
