san diego!

We are back from sunny San Diego! And it was t'was a good time!!

We took like a million pictures...okay maybe only several hundreds!

It took us a total of 20 hours to actually arrive at our destination. Why you may ask?! Between traffic and traveling with 10 adults and 4 children...well you can put the pieces together.

We stopped in Vegas the first night to, you know, break up the drive.

We stayed in Oceanside for the week. I LOVE Oceanside. It's so beautiful and quaint.

While we were there we went to Sea World (twice), Universal Studios, the zoo, the beach, Legoland, and to the temple...along with many other adventures.

Ready for the pictures yet?! It took my FOREVER to make all of these dang collages so you guys better enjoy them! Hopefully you can click on them and make it bigger.
See that picture of the black bag on the back of the car?
Doesn't it look like we were toting a dead body around with us?!
I thought so.

Car accident.
They had to stop traffic so the choppers could land.

Is it Sea World or Seaworld?
Regardless, we went there.

Monkey looks like Hitler with his little dirt-stache.

That is duct tape on the car. Classy, yeah?

San Diego Zoo
They wanted to charge us $20 for the picture in the middle.
I took a picture of the picture.
I'm smart, I know.

LOVE the Harbor!

The temple was completely covered in scaffolds.
Ugly on the outside but SO BEAUTIFUL on the inside!

Hello Hollywood.
I want that monkey.

GO SHAMU!!

Down by the pier there was a street market going on and it was AWESOME!
And we ate at Hodad's. YUMMY!

Daren and I had a great time being able to spend the week together and with our families. We sure did miss our puppy and we were VERY happy to see him again when we got back.

I will leave you with this picture.
We took a picture of our puppy with us so we wouldn't forget how cute he is.

Don't judge us people.

girls weekend

I LOVE my lady friends! I seriously have the best friends EVER!

A bunch of us gathered this weekend and had a KILLER time together! We didn't really kill people...we just had a REALLY good time.

We got a hotel up here in the good old Logan, ate LOTS of food, talked, LAUGHED, got our toes beautified, laughed some more, did some shopping, hung out in our hotel bathroom all night, took a ride up to Bear Lake, and LOVED each other!

It was SO fun!!

It was Kari's birthday so we made her ride the bull! YEE HAW!!

So pretty...

This picture rocks my face off!

Isn't this tree thing SO creepy?!
I tell you what though...it brought good luck all around. After we saw this Marci found money and we saw baby moose, just like Cheri wanted to!

LOVE YOU GIRLS!!

Up next....SAN DIEGO!! See you suckers in 2 weeks!! I mean...I love you.

shane's graduation

My little brother GRADUATED!! BAH!! I can't believe it!

I was SO nervous the ENTIRE day! Seriously, on the way down at like 8:30 in the morning I was already starting to feel it.

It's so weird that he is old enough to actually graduate. I still feel like he is 12 years old still...but he's a man now!

The graduation was good. It wasn't as long as I thought it would be but it was HOT! I was sweating so bad!

I also didn't cry as much as I thought I would. I only started crying when they started doing the school chants and whatnot. It's that dang school spirit that gets me every time!

I took like a million pictures that night. I'll only post a couple so you guys don't get bored! Plus most of them are with his friends...and you guys probably don't know his friends, which is too bad because Shane has some pretty awesome friends!

Lunch before graduation!

I think he looks SUPER old in this picture...like mid 20's, not 18.

Please remember that is was REALLY hot in the school, which is why my hair is looking special.

Congrats Shaner's!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!

happy anniversary to us!

2 years ago, yesterday, this happened....

and it was SO GREAT!!

Yesterday was our anniversary...guess what we did?!

Cooked dutch oven dinner for our ward ALL DAY LONG! Seriously, 12 hours.

We came home dirty, sweaty, dirty, and sun burnt!

It was so romantic....

2 years down, one million to go!!

I love you baby!

P.S. We better be blessed for this sacrifice...do you think I just undid the blessing by demanding them?!
