what in the devil?!

OH HEY!!!

Remember me?! Good.

Things are....good. We are still looking for a house. Anyone have a house we can buy?!

Daren's grandpa is now suing us. Yup. It's true. We go to court August 19th. We have had a couple attorneys tells us he doesn't stand a chance. So we will see! It's awesome....

Let me tell you what else has been happening...in pictures. Mostly from my phone. Don't judge me.


We finally made it to Scheels. It was pretty cool. My mom and I rode the ferris wheel, her idea, and she was freaking out the entire time. It was pretty hilarious.

Did you guys forget about Adi?! Don't worry I have PLENTY of pictures of her! She sure does love our Bear doggy. It's so cute to watch her try and play with him. He just lays there and takes it. She cracks me up!

 We cleaned out my in laws backyard while my father in law was at scout camp for the week. It was AWESOME! We threw away so much crap!

 Check out this little car. We saw this coming home from a wedding one night. Think he could fit?

Susi and I took Adi shopping with us one night and oh boy does she love to shop! She was touching everything we put in the cart and she would just giggle. Then she would start dancing to the music! A girl after my own heart! 

 I love my hubby and puppy!

 I also love my father in law! Just look at his outfit. Look at it. And embrace it. It cracks me up!

Adi LOVES to try and eat Bear's food. 

 She also LOVES her uncle Daren. Seriously, she will scour the house until she finds him. It's super adorable. Plus, Daren LOVES Adi. She has him wrapped around his fingers. 

We went out to Hyde Park for their holiday/firework celebration. It's one of my favorite events of the summer. We always have a great time at Mari and Casey's house. Mari had a little swimming pool for the kids. Well needless to say, Adi loved it. Susi didn't have a swim diaper for her but Adi didn't care. Look how giant her diaper got! She could hardly walk because it was so heavy! 

I had the 24th off, Daren didn't. It was sad. Susi and I took the kids to the parade, which is one of my favs. We met Angie and her kids there. It was a good time. Free Chick Fila and free Zeppes. I will take it!

We also got to celebrate Caius' 1st birthday last week! Oh man he is so adorable! Seriously, a very beautiful baby!

 There you have it folks! As you can see our life revolves around little Adi! HA! Just kidding! All is well. I just have to keep telling myself...this too shall pass!

4th of july!

This summer has gone by so fast already! I can't even believe it was the 4th of July last week! It blows my mind! We had a stellar good time this year! 

I had a nice long 4 day weekend! Daren had to work on Friday so that was a bummer. Our weekend included 4th of July parties, lots of fireworks, parades, swimming, Pat Benatar (believe it), the farmer's market, car shows, and LOTS of laughs!!

Starting from the beginning...James and Susi had their annual 3rd of July party and it was super fun! We hung and chatted with friends, lit off our own fireworks, and then watched the big ones!

The next day was the 4th. We went to the Hyrum parade. It's always super fun! Angie picked us a good spot! Nice and shady! Makayla and Luiz were both in the parade this year so it was just a littles getting all the candy!

We also tried to go to the pool that day but it started to rain and lightening when we got there. Boo face!

Later that night we went up to our secret location...which isn't quite a secret anymore! We go up to the stake center in Millville and watch the fireworks. You can see them all over the south end of the valley. It's pretty cool and we always get a good show! There were definitely more people up there this year. Word is starting to get around I guess!

Friday we went to the pool. And it was awesome. And not raining. I love the pool. The only picture I took was of Adi bean. Before we even got back to the car after swimming she was out! It was so cute! Also, isn't her swimming suit so adorable!

Friday night was the most amazing night EVER! It was seriously SOOO much fun! Susi, Jenn, Annie, and I went and saw PAT BENATAR in concert at the fairgrounds! Oh man did we have a good time!! We let loose and danced our behinds off! It started raining when we got there but let up after about 20 minutes or so. You can kind of see the rainbow in that last picture. We weren't suppose to take any pictures during the concert but I snuck one anyways!

Saturday morning we all went to the farmer's market. I seriously love going! I could eat all morning there...and that is pretty much what we did! 

Saturday afternoon my parents and Shane came up. We went to lunch/dinner and then headed over to the Cruise In parade! The weather was perfect and we again, had excellent seats staked out!

It was such a great weekend! Lots of family time! Back to work tomorrow...so sad!
