BELIEVE IT!! Or at least I'm getting closer to the title....
Some would argue that I worked on my domestic skills before I even got married. I would agree. I started cooking a little bit more. I even started to sew which lead to me making a blanket for my mom as well as my own sewing machine. Double woot!
So far in my 3, almost 4 weeks, of being a wife I have completed 2 of 3 domesticated missions.
Mission One: Shaving Daren's head. MISSION FAILED!
I totally shaved his side burns off accidentally. Luckily I have a GREAT husband and he wasn't mad at all. At first I'm pretty sure he was in complete shock that is actually happened and by the time the shock wore off, it was funny...kind of...no?
Mission Two: Turning our bad bananas into Banana Bread. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!It was fantastic. I even added chocolate chips. Ideal!
Mission Three: Cooking dinner for my husband. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Tonight was the first time I actually cooked dinner for Daren since we've been married. And I'm not one to brag but it was amazing! Pot roast, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots, and garlic bread. So delish. I took a picture for your viewing pleasure.
In the words of Journey, and one of my favorite songs, "Don't stop believin! Hold on to that feelin'!" I will one day be able to call myself domestic...and I'm holding on to that feelin!

Saturday is a special day...
...it's the day awesome things happen!
Let me tell you about it!
1. Breakfast in bed, brought to myself by my wonderful husband.
2. Completely finishing unpacking and putting our house together. We are officially ALL moved in! Woot!
3. Clean house.
4. TV and internet installed! So excited! We were getting sick of watching movies and shows on DVD. However, The Office can never get old. Special shout out to Jer who waited on hold for 30 minutes because the Comcast guy didn't even hook up our internet right.
5. BBQ at our house. We have awesome friends and family who brought all kinds of delicious food!
6. SLIP N' SLIDE! It was a total hit with the little kids..and myself and Susi. We tried to pretend we were 7 again..our bodies did not like it. We both have bruises all over our legs and I think I pulled a muscle in my stomach area. It was SO worth it though! Thanks to Nurse Annie for assuring me I wasn't going to die.
Special thanks to Lacey who gave me a great idea for making the Slip N' Slide more slippery! For this special tip, please see me. You'll never guess what I used.
All in all, yesterday (Saturday) was a awesome day!
Here are some pictures from the Slip N' Slide fun! This is me. This picture is posed. Every time I went down the slide my back would turn to the camera so finally we gave up and this is what we got.
Susi-loo. She was more graceful when it came to sliding and taking a picture.
The little kids were a lot better at it. They kept showing us how it was done. Sister in laws!
The sun was totally in our eyes taking this picture.
Today will begin a new adventure. We are going to our new ward. I'm kind of excited but nervous at the same time. I'll let you know how it goes!
PS. Don't forget! ONE WEEK FROM TODAY WE ARE GOING PRIVATE!

The joining of 2 souls....
or blogs! Whatev.
I'm going to conjoin mine and Daren's blog as previously mentioned. He still won't blog but it's all good. I'm going to be changing my URL to something cooler than ashleeisawesome. I'm not sure how you can get much cooler than that but I'll sure try. Our blog will also be private.
I'm not going to change the URL until we go private which will be......drum roll please! July 6th. It is a Sunday. I don't know why I chose that date but I did. That gives all of you, my readers, over a week to give me your e-mail addresses so you can still read what is happening in the lives of the newlyweds.
SO! Comment with your e-mail address or you can just e-mail me. If you don't know my e-mail address, just ask. If you don't know how to get a hold of me...well then I probably won't allow you to read my blog.
Happy Wednesday!
PS. I fixed the link to my photographer on my last blog. Sorry about that. I'm special.

Hello world!!
The past 3 weeks have been total chaos BUT total and complete BLISS at the same time! Daren and I got married on June 5th and it was the most amazing day of my entire life! The weather was PERFECT!! In fact, the 2 days we had receptions were the only 2 days where it didn't rain. My mom calls that the "Ashlee Factor." Everything turned out so amazing and NOTHING went wrong! We owe a HUGE thanks to our families, especially our parents! Without them NONE of this would have been possible. We had 2 receptions, one in Logan and the other in Salt Lake. Both were perfect! Check out my photographers blog! She just posted pictures from the wedding today and they are AMAZING!!! Alisha was by far the best decision I made for our wedding!

The Sunday after we got married we left for our honeymoon to SAN DIEGO! I had never been there before so I was WAY excited to leave! We stayed in Vegas Sunday night and then drove to San Diego to Monday. We had an AMAZING week there! We went to Sea World, which is the HAPPIEST place on earth! We went to the zoo, a Padres game, the beach of course. We also went to Seaport Village which is totally magical and has some great shopping. It is also where we bought our SWEET hammock. It was so relaxing and it so fun! We had a great time spending a week together, just the 2 of us. We haven't had that much time alone is FOREVER! I'm pretty sure Daren got more entertainment out of watching than anything else. I like a 4 year old kid in a candy store. It was a FABULOUS way to start our new lives together!
Here are some pictures from the honeymoon...Sorry there are a lot! VEGAS! We also went on a gondola right which was SO magical!
The beach.
Padres game. Don't worry I had my hot dog and coke. It was delicious! And we had AWESOME seats!
Breakfast with Shamu. See how close that water is? That's how close we were to Shamu. Believe it people! AMAZING!
HA!
We got to go on a "Behind the Scenes" penguin tour. This is me touching a REAL LIVE penguin. I named him Murphy. It's kind of blurry because we couldn't have a flash on or the penguin would freak out. We also got to go into the actual exhibit where it was like 3 million degrees below zero. But it was still AWESOME!
Bus ride around the San Diego Zoo.
This is a baby panda. I want one.
Thanks for coming!
We went to a eatery called Hodad's. It was on the Diner, Drive-Ins and something or other show. Anywho. The place itself is probably one of the scariest places I've ever eaten next to Betos BUT I had the BEST Bacon Cheeseburger that I have ever had in my ENTIRE life. Freak. SO good!
SHAMU!
I got to feed a dolphin!
The Saturday we were there Sea World started its Summer Nights. The park stays open late and they have the night shows which totally ROCKS! Saturday night they shot off fireworks and we could see them from the Shamu Rocks show. It was the perfect way to end our honeymoon!
Thanks Sea World for making our honeymoon the most amazing honeymoon EVER!
Of course we had to stop in Beaver to take a picture in the gigantic chair...AND I found Grape Big League Chew! Score! I can't find Grape anywhere in Logan.
And this is what we arrived home to. Isn't it beautiful?!
I told you there would be a lot of pictures. It's hard to choose just a couple...there are still SO many more pictures but I'm getting bored blogging. I'm going to be combining mine and Daren's blog since he doesn't blog at all. Plus we are going to be going private soon. I know I've said that before but now I mean it. So stay tuned for some changes! Much love!
