turkey day and christmas trees

Have I ever told you guys that Thanksgiving weekend is one of my favorite weekends?! Cause it is!

It all started with Turkey Day. We spent the day with Daren's family. We had dinner and Angie and Luiz's clubhouse and then went over to Daren's parents house for dessert and games! I didn't take any pictures of the food but it was YUMMO!! Daren and I were in charge of the potatoes. 20 POUNDS OF THEM!! It was intense but we did it and they were so good! Daren makes some GOOD tators! We also made an apple crumb pie and a pumpkin pie. Now I'm hungry...

Makayla and Luiz also put on a little show for us about...something. It was quite cute! They are creative little buggers!

Of course we did our online shopping. Dang I love Kohl's! I saved like $500 there! Cha Ching! Friday afternoon the ladies and I went over to Novemberfest, per tradition. It was a good time!

Saturday morning we all gathered and headed up the mountains to cut down our Christmas trees! It was a beautiful day! You seriously couldn't ask for better! We didn't encounter much snow but we DID encounter lots of MUD! Mud was everywhere! It was SO fun! It really is one of my favorite things to do to get in the holiday spirit!

I love to use the term "I need to Instagram this." I have been doing more Instagraming than anything else....

We had a pretty craptastic corn season. This is all we got! A fraction of what we got last year. Oh well, this grateful we got anything!

He had bags. HA! Loves it!

We went to IKEA like 2 months ago...it was awesome. And I spent too much money. I was SWEATING during the checkout because I realized that I was bought a lot! Even though everything is cheap it sure does add up fast!

My new pillow case covers. I made them. Believe it. 

I am the baby whisper. 

I thought I lost my favorite lip gloss....turns out I just dropped on the ground out front..and then it got ran over...I can still open it. It's all good!

Bear doggy and dad at the vet. Don't worry he is healthy and happy! Well maybe not happy at that EXACT moment...but he is happy!

First snow of the season. Definitely wasn't ready for it!

We were watching Haden one night and after his bath he wanted to do his own hair.

Daren was asked to be the 1st counselor in the Elder's Quorum. So proud of him and he is going to do an amazing job!
