slacking...

Holy moly I have been slacking!!

Here is the update...

A few weeks ago my cute daddy turned 50!! We threw him a small surprise party and it was awesome! He had no idea! We had a small party up at The Roof. It was a beautiful night and we got to spend it with most amazing family and friends! I wish I had pictures of him walking in...it was kind of chaotic when he showed up though. Daren and I made a great video of his life. We also put in a little birthday message from Elder Hansen! The tears were flowing!

And then there was Thanksgiving...Thanksgiving weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year! This year we went down to Salt Lake and spent Thanksgiving day with my family. It was quaint but wonderful! We ate yummy food and worked on Shane's Christmas package.

I didn't go out shopping on Black Friday this year. I did it all from my home...in my underwear. And it was awesome.

Saturday we cut down our tree!! Love this tradition!! It was pretty intense at first. 2 of the cars got stuck and we had to back down the mountainside. Thankfully, everyone got down safe. We found a good spot and went hiking up into the mountains! The trees were few and far in between this year but we found a good one! This one is actually my favorite tree we have cut down! I LOVE it!!

It wouldn't be a Tibbitts adventure without propane and a crap load of hot chocolate...

We put our tree up and got everything decorated! I will take pictures soon! There are few things we need to change first...This is what Bear did the entire time we decorated. He was a tired puppy!

Happy Holidays!!

halloween!

Halloween has come and gone. I have to admit, this year was pretty low key. This was the first year in 4 years that I haven't been in the schools on Halloween. It was a sad time. I really missed seeing all the kids in their costumes. Mainly, I just miss seeing the kids. I may or may not have had an emotional moment last night. Luckily, I have on amazing husband to snuggle me better.

Saturday we carved pumpkins with Susi and Haden. It was pretty awesome. I LOVE my pumpkin this year. It is the best one I have ever carved. And I did it mostly by myself. Daren did gut it for me. He's just so much better at it than me.

He was quite concerned about the guts.

BAHA! He kept putting that orange thing up his nose and it would tickle. It was pretty funny.

Don't you think the pumpkin looks fake? Trust me, it's real.
I had to break out the tripod to get a good picture of these bad boys.

Sunday we had a little Halloween party at Angie's house. We played Minute to Win it games. It was pretty fun! It was a lot of work but definitely worth it!

If you know Tom at all, you will not be surprised he is using his tongue.

Yesterday, the actually day of Halloween, we went over to Daren's parents to see the kids. They all looked so adorable! We ate some dinner and then came home for the evening. We actually had trick or treat-er's too! A total of 8 kids! That is 7 more than we have ever had total! It was pretty exciting!

Cutest skunk EVER!

I seriously can't believe it's already November. Looking forward to the holidays this year! Lots of fun things coming up!
