easter

You guys...it has been such beautiful weather lately...until TODAY. SNOWING!! ALL DAY!! I mean, I'm grateful for the moisture but seriously? It couldn't have done this in December? Oh well...what can you do? I am just praying that my flowers that I planted 3 days ago survive this mess. 

Anywho...moving on...we celebrated Easter and it was just lovely.

We decorated eggs with James and Susi and the kids a few days before. It took us trying 3 different methods to finally (kind of) get them colored. 

The kids found my tanning goggles and LOVED them. Who would have thought??

We went down to SLC right after work Friday night and it took us FOREVER to get down there. Traffic was terrible!! Like 4 MPH on the freeway...Once we made it down, it was great!

We celebrated Jace's birthday Saturday. We went bowling and had dinner before the boys went to the Priesthood session of conference. After, we have ice cream cake. YUMMO!

During conference, my mom and I had pedicures and went shopping. It was super fun! Love my mama!

 My parents bought new patio furniture and this was the box it came in...we all fit! Kind of...the box actually broke after this. HA!

We had a nice Easter dinner with my family, my grandpa, 2 aunts, one of Shane's mission companions and his fiance. It was quite the group. But it sure was fun! 

After dinner, we headed back to Logan to celebrate with Daren's family.

birthdays and birthdays

It's spring!! And I am DYING to get out and start some more projects around the house! A few inside projects and LOTS of outside projects!! YAY!!

We have been celebrating lots of cute kids birthdays!

First, was cute little Adi bean! She turned 3! But if you ask her, she is turning ten. What a crack up! She is so sassy and adorable! We love her so much! And oh boy does she LOVE her Uncle Daren. We celebrated the Sunday before her birthday and then on her actual birthday we went out to dinner with her and the family. Good times!

The next birthday we celebrated was baby Jacob's birthday! This cute boy turned 1! I can hardly believe it! He is so cute and squishy!

In other news...I did a little project in the kitchen. Added a little color and made a roman shade. Love having some color in there!

I also made some new pillow covers. I had a brain fart in the store and didn't buy enough fabric...so I was only able to make one of each, instead of 2. Still working on the making the second of each set.

In other random pictures...

We bought a wagon! I'm REALLY excited about! Daren pushed me all the way through the parking lot in it. It was awesome!

I got a wicked bite that got infected! Looks gross, huh?? I got myself an antibiotic for it. Last day is tomorrow...so I'm pretty sure I will be able to keep the leg!

Last but not least...look at that cute puppy!
