girls weekend and other stuff

I have been having lots of fun lately! Lots of fun with my girlfriends!

The first weekend I went away was to Park City with my high school besties! And it was so fun! We ate, laughed, shopped, colored in coloring books, and took about a million selfies! I feel so blessed to still have such a great friendship with these girls still. They are seriously my best friends and we always have so much fun together! I told you we took a lot of pictures..and this isn't even all of them! HA!

This last weekend was a fun filled weekend! It started with Logan High winning the 3AA State Championship in football! It was a great game! I was so nervous the entire time. Even after they won my stomach was still a wreck! I'm so proud of Shane! It has been so fun to watch him coach and win!

After the game, my mom and I headed to the Salt Palace Convention Center for Time Out of Women...with 5,000 other women. We met up with one of my friends from church and some of her friends. We had a great weekend! We heard from amazing speakers like, Tim Ballard, Mary Ellen Edmunds, some of the cast from Studio C, Emily Freeman, Lisa Clark Valentine and Hank Smith. All of them were funny and uplifting and had a great message. We listened to music from Gentri and Jenny Oaks Baker. I had never been before so I was a little anxious but now I am definitely a fan and can't wait to go again!

Tomorrow night is YW in Excellence and then it's Thanksgiving! We are hosting dinner at our house this year! We will have about 30 people! I am a tiny bit stressed but overall I am excited for it! I am grateful that we have a home large enough to be able to do it! It's going to be Griswold Thanksgiving!

halloween festivites

Halloween has been over with for about a week now...and we are in full Fall/Thanksgiving mode! It's my favorite time of the year! We are hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year! WOWZA! I am excited!! It's going to be crazy but super fun!

Back to goblins and ghosts...

We attended the Annual Pumpkin Walk. It was really good this year! Lots of great scenes and lots of details! The theme was, "Now That's Funny!" And there were some funny scenes! The whole back side of the walk was Dumber and Dumber...it was pretty awesome!

We also carved pumpkins! Andy, Danielle, Susi and the kids came over. We had dinner and carved our pumpkins for FHE. It was a super fun night!!

Adi LOVED cleaning out the pumpkin...and giving high fives with slimy hands! Haden was much more meticulous...he would probably still be carving his pumpkin if an adult didn't step in and help.

Also...we tried to take a group selfie but it didn't quite work out how I had visioned.

HALLOWEEN!! All year we have talked about Daren and Adi dressing up as Wreck It Ralph and Vannilope Von Shweetz. And it finally happened! They make such a year pair! Adi called Daren Wreck It Ralph all night. "C'mom Wreck It Ralph...let's go." He trick or treated to every door she did. And he pretty much carried her the entire night. His poor back...but I am pretty sure he loved having all her attention! It was great weather too!

I didn't dress up this year. I was going to be a leprechaun since I already had the stuff but decided not to. Halloween was on a Saturday this year so we didn't dress up at work..So yeah...next year!

In other happenings...Our friends Annie and Harley had their baby! If you will remember, we threw a very pink baby shower for her. Turns out...baby was a BOY!! HAHA! Oh we couldn't even believe it!! EVERYONE was shocked, obviously! But mama and baby are doing great! He is so adorable! They named his Beckett William. I just love him so much already!

Here are 2 more pictures for your viewing pleasure...love these 2 so much!!

Until next time my loves.
