christmas festivities and mice

Santa is coming this week!! I can't believe it's here already!!

We have been enjoying our fair share of Christmas festivities this month! Work parties, ward parties, family parties, and friend parties! Lots of fun and laughter!!

Our first Christmas party is one of our favorite's!! Cheri and Adam's Annual Christmas party! Full of dark gingerbread houses, yummy food, hilarious white elephants, and AMAZING friends!! Those Hansen's sure know how to throw a good party!

We went to a Live Nativity last week at a little farm in Nibley. It was so fun! They had the nativity, animals that you could pet...camels, donkeys, goats, sheep... wagon rides, and hot chocolate. We had a great time and plan on making it a yearly tradition.

This weekend, we went down to Salt Lake to spend some time with my family. We went to see the lights at Temple Square and met up with James and Susi and Jenn. Then we had some dinner and went to the Kurt Bestor concert. The One Voice Children's Choir was with him and they were AMAZING! It was a great time! It was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.

My parents can NOT take a selfie...and it's pretty hilarious to watch them try. After this, I'm pretty Jace spent the rest of the night trying to educate my dad on it. Quite humorous!

In other non-holiday events...

We celebrated Makayla's 12th birthday a few weeks ago...so crazy she is 12!! She is beautiful and has a big heart! We sure do love her!

Also...WE HAVE MICE!! Yuck! We have caught 2 so far! Pretty sure there are more! We know where they were coming into the house from...and we filled that hole. Now we just have to wait to get what is stuck in the house. We also finally discovered where there little home is. The other night we were eating dinner with Annie and Harley and Harley saw one out of the corner of his eye. He wasn't too sure it was actually a mouse but then we saw it again! And the hunt was on!! Our front room was destroyed in matter of minutes. BUT! WE GOT IT! It was quite entertaining actually!! Wish us luck!
