4th of july

Have I ever mentioned that I love the 4th of July?? Maybe just once or twice...every year! HA! Celebrating with a baby makes it even more fun!! We started celebrating on Saturday night...all the way through Tuesday! And of course, Doree had a different outfit for each day. HAHA! Thanks to Grandma Jo Jo!

Saturday started with brunch with my old roomies from college. Super fun to catch up with them! Gunner LOVED Doree. He kept coming over and talking to her or tickling her feet. It was so cute!

 That night we went out to dinner with my family and then over to the Cruise In parade. It was a beautiful night! Not too hot!

We, of course, needed a nap during the day!

Sunday we went to church. I just loved singing patriotic songs at church!

Monday night we went over to Bridgerland Tech Center and watched USU's fireworks. It's our new favorite spot to watch. It's been open grass area and there aren't a lot of people. It's great!

 

 

On the actual 4th, instead of going to the parade with a million people...we went to the pool! It was so fun! There weren't a ton of people...because they were all at the pool! We had a great time swimming with our friends and cousins!

 Later that night, we had some friends over for a BBQ, games, and sparklers! Later that night we walked over to the baseball fields and watched the fireworks! It was such a low key, super chill night! I loved it!

 Dors kicked my cup and spilled water all over me...silly baby!

What a great time celebrating our freedom and country! Til next year!! Happy 4th of July!
