Where did June go? I don't even know! 

The beginning of June we celebrated our 9 year anniversary! We both took the day off work! It was so great! We took Doree to her 2 month check up. She had to have shots! I was NOT prepared for it. We both cried. Like a lot. After, we went to lunch and took Doree to the pool for the first time! She was pretty impartial to it. She didn't scream so I will take it as a win!

It was also my last day before I went back to work. I'm glad I was able to spend it doing fun things. I think it would have been even harder to go back if I was sitting at home thinking about it. It was a win win all around! I did go back to a new position too! Which I am grateful for! It has kept me much busier than my old position! I am now working in the Assessor's office as a personal property specialist. More money, less public. WOOT!

We also celebrated Daren's first Father's Day with a human baby! Doree and I got him some treats and a day out with his brothers! We love our dad so much! He does so much for us and loves us both so much!

At the end of the month, we went to the Hancey Family Camp out. It was super chill this year and really fun! We just ate and hung out. Doree got to meet more of her extended family too! Daren's uncle Neil borrow a little train thing from his neighbor. I took Doree on it! She wasn't a huge fan...a little too bumpy for her...and mom. 

We haven't forgot about Bear doggy! We finally found part of the Logan river that isn't deadly wild. He has been swimming down there a couple times! He loves the water!

Cute little Doree has been growing so much! At her 2 month check up, she was 10 lb, 6 oz! Only in the 21% for her weight, but 74% for her height! She has discovered her hands and LOVES to suck on them...very loudly! She is starting to recognize mom and dad's face and usually has a smile for us! Oh it just melts our hearts! She is also starting to babble more! She talks to Daren way more than me! It's so freaking cute!

We just celebrated the 4th of July! I will blog about that soon!

doree's baby blessing

Doree turned 2 months old last Sunday! And to celebrate, Daren blessed her in church! It was a beautiful blessing. Daren did a great job! I tried to record it and so did Susi so hopefully I will be able to type up exactly what he said. We had a ton of family and friends there to celebrate too!

Her blessing dress was made out of my wedding dress! It fit her perfectly and she looked so beautiful in it!

 We had 2 baby blessing that day. Little Nona was blessed too! If you remember, she was born the day after Doree was. They are basically going to be besties...Mindy and I will make sure of it!

Doree was hungry while we were taking pictures! We were feeding her in between shots. HA!

 I think it's safe to say her grandma's like her! HA!

After sacrament, we had a lunch at our home...we had close to 80 people here! I wish I had taken more pictures of everyone! I was running around like a crazy person!

It was a wonderful day. We are so grateful to have such wonderful support around us. We love our little Doree and can't wait to see what life has in store for her!
