Guys! Where the flip did February go?!? Seriously, I can hardly believe!! Not much has been happening around here!
Still house hunting. We thought we had one. I mean we were SO close. It was a foreclosure and in REALLY fantastic condition. There were 15 offers on the house. The bank rejected all by 5. We were one of the five. They had everyone do a Final and Best Offer. We were feeling pretty good about our offer and getting excited...probably too excited. Anywho, the bank took another offer, which we were told was just a little bit better than ours. BOO!!! It was a tough blow. So now we start over. House hunting is so exhausting. And sometimes can get really discouraging!! But we are relying on our faith. We know that will be find a house for us and that it will be right where Heavenly Father needs us. Until then....we keep searching and praying.
That is probably the most excited...and depressing news.
Valentine's Day happened too. And it was awesome. We actually got a hotel room this year. I had a coupon. We got our Chinese food and spending the evening just the 2 of us. Sometimes when you live a house with 3 other people...and a dog, it's super nice to get out and have some quiet. Daren also got me these super pretty flowers! They are actually still holding on strong, 3 weeks later.

These were our fortune's from dinner. Kind of funny that we got these ones on Valentine's Day, don't you think?!
Daren hurt his back like back in November and it has been getting better..and then it gets worse...and then it gets better and so on. Anywho, a few weeks ago he said that the pain is going down his legs and making his feet numb. RED ALERT for the wife! Pulled the wife card and took him to the chiropractor. I'm telling you guys, it was the FUNNIEST thing I have ever watched. Here is this more man and he is trying to man handle my giant husband. Oh man I was trying so hard to keep my laughter hidden but I couldn't hold it in any longer! I'm not sure the doctor appreciated my laughing at him. But seriously...so hilar! Don't worry I snapped a few hidden pictures!

The prognosis is he has a HUGE knot/tension by his L3 and L4 vertebrae. Like HUGE. I can feeling the muscles popping. It's gross. The doc has adjusted him a few times and gave him some stretches to do. He is feeling a little bit better. Of course then he goes to work and lifts transmissions and pallets...so you know. We will see how long it takes to actually fix the problem. HA!
The weather has been so lovely lately! Actually this whole week it has been raining, which is good. But before that it has been so lovely! We have even been down to the puppy park for a swim in the river!
Here is a gaggle of pictures of little Adi bean. Can you tell we love her? She has Daren and Grandpa wrapped around her fingers so tight!! It's quite adorable! This little girl
LOVES water. She is constantly playing in the sink. She has so much sass too! Holy crap her poor parents!
HA! I love it though!! Can't wait for her birthday in a few weeks!!
We took Angie's kids to church with us today. It was actually much better than I anticipated. They were good little tykes. They are pretty cute too!
Well that's about it folks!! Another day, another dollar!!
Oh yeah! We bought a gun yesterday! I don't know what kind. It's long and black. Ever since we went through all those issues at the Providence home, Daren has been wanting one...you know for protection and all that jazz. The place we got it was having a sale so what the heck right?! He was debating at the counter and I told him to just get it and I was going to look at other stuff. Well apparently that makes me one awesome wife! There was a guy working and another guy buying guns all right there and they told Daren not to let me go. I think one of them asking him if I had a sister.
HA! I guess it's not very often a wife tells her husband to just buy the gun. I win!
WOOT! So now the next time some drives up our stairs and into our house, we can shoot them!
HA! Jokes...but seriously...
Much love to you all!
